Upon meeting Shane Eighme, Partner at Shane & Shane LLC, you will immediately sense his confidence, drive and ambition. Originally from the Ohio Valley Region, Shane relocated to Columbus to attend Franklin University, where he earned his Bachelors’ of Science in Financial Management.

Shane began his career in the Financial Services Industry with Nationwide as a Retirement Specialist in 2003. After a brief interlude with owning and operating two Subway Franchises, he returned to Nationwide in 2008 as a Product Wholesaler. As a successful Product Wholesaler, Shane realized that his spirit would be better served by changing course and heading back into Financial Services where he could serve his clients directly. In 2013, he joined One America and was able to assist his clients with full-service Financial Planning.

With the launch of Shane & Shane LLC in 2015, Shane Eighme and his partner, Shane Swearingen, have identified a need in the marketplace for their specialized and focused services in Retirement Income Planning. Individuals who are in the 55+ age group who are approaching retirement within the next 10 years, or those who are ready to retire now, are individuals who Shane can best serve with his knowledge. Shane has successfully helped many clients navigate the Social Security maze, properly structure their financial legacy and gain peace of mind that their loved ones or charities of choice are carefully considered in the process.

Passion for educating clients propels them from fear and uncertainty, to empowered and confident for the future. “Investing the time to gain a clear understanding of our client’s objectives is the manner in which we operate. It is very rewarding for me to be able to assess the client’s current situation, show them the strategy and then provide the roadmap for where we are about to go! The attitude transformation is remarkable and the client begins to actually look forward to their future.”

During the initial 6-months of the relationship, a client can expect frequent communication and constant interaction. After the initial plan is set into motion, update meetings are scheduled throughout the remainder of the ongoing relationship. “Life happens, so we always need to be accessible to our clients and their changing circumstances.”

When Shane is not structuring income for others, he enjoys his 16-acre horse ranch in Plain City. Shane and his wife, Andrea, are quite active in the equestrian community and are members of the National Reining Horse Association as well as the American Quarter Horse Association.

As a proud Father and Husband, Shane is thankful that he is able to head home to his ‘ranch-life’ and enjoy fishing, hunting and trail riding. His clients are able to see that he leads by example.
